Chatbox features

I rarely scroll all the way down but was surprised to find a chatbox there today! O.o

Is this a new feature or have I completely been unaware of its existence for the last two years?

Either way, I can't seem to get it to work (it always says I am disconnected).
Has anyone been able to use it yet? (And is anyone using it regularly?)

PS: I hope all our members are having a great summer so far.

I invite all of you to open the chatbox and click "log in" to activate it.

(Ohhhhh the potential for real-time warnings when breaking forum rules has just doubled )

Of course, I expect all members to be mindful of their language on the chat. Please refrain form rude or vulgar comments.

I agree with removing the chat and splitting the songrequests! That songrequest page was getting crowded!

As for the chat... Well since we are all over the world it was pretty rough to get enough people on at the same time to be able to have a decent conversation.

I also saw that there was a "portal". may be a try too.
