learing korean?

i'm from germany so my native speech is german. Besides i'm learing japanese for a few years at evening classes. I've already made a few friends in Japan. One of them translates korean dramas in japanese which is pretty awesome. She always told me to try learning korean, too. Furthermore my japanese teacher told me, that the korean writing system "hangeul" is easy to learn. Unfortunately there are no evening classes for korean nearby...

Are there any tips from you to learn korean? Good teaching books, websites or android apps will help too.
