Your Favourite Jpop Female Singer

Who is your favourite japanese female singer? and why?
For me.. I love YUI so much. The reason are :
1. She's multitalented (can play guitar and piano)
2. Most of her song is made by her
3. She has angelic voice

Oh that's a hard one!!

I think Kana has a beautiful voice, really the best! But I like Yui more so I voted for her.

Admitedly, if it was a pure talent competition I would have to vote for Kana though.

I don't find my favourite female singer in the list... My favourite Jpop female singer is Hitomi Shimatani. After all, her first song was enka style. She's a really great artist.

My fav. is Hikaru Utada. I was in love with her.

Her marriage was a blown for me. But she's still the prettiest to me.

And i like a lot of songs from her, i've heard all of them

I answered Yui, even if I prefer much more miwa and kumi koda. Those 2 are very talented !

I like BoA and Utada Hikaru too but I just love YUI's voice so much.

What about Maaya Sakamoto or Abe Mao? They're my favourite Jpop female singers... But since they're not on your list I picked Yuna Ito because she is really a great singer and I like her songs very much

Ah, that's right. It's really too bad that Maaya Sakamoto it's not there, I love her songs. She's one of my favourite voice actress too, together with Aya Hirano (also a great singer) and Megumi Ogata.

I'm abusing my moderator rights again...

But well, Maaya Sakamoto's worth it.

Though I would vote for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu...

She's like a sweet Japanese version of Bjork. Kinda. Not quite, but kinda. And I like Bjork.

I was blown away by her 'POWER of MUSIC' tour.
It was definitely her most magnificent performance ever.

I vote for Utada Hikaru. I think she's a great artist - her last concert was amazing! "Goodbye Happiness" has blown my mind~♥ *_* I love most of her songs and she's got a beautiful voice...

I also like Kana Nishino, Yuna Ito, YUI or Maaya Sakamoto but definitely my numer one is Utada~♥

I like all of them, I was mostly between Utada Hikaru and YUI, and I finally voted YUI
And now I still thinking about it

Although i choose BoA.. i think here we can see the lack of Namie Amuro
Among the options i prefer BoA, but she's korean .

i like YUI... because the voice of yui is so smooth and i like yui's style that are rock style..
