recommendation

anybody know a psychological/suspense anime/manga that recommend me, such a "higurashi no naku koro ni"
beforehand thanks

that it is Eirith! That it is! However I still don't really understand it. at first it was all monsters and mechas fighting and then....just went off the cliff with everything!!! But I have to agree with your list as well! Elfen Lied was terrific and so very sad at the same time! and the way they left the ending....was brilliant!!!

There are a few more series that are fairly psychological, well, it explores more the sociological aspects of MMORPGs...Sword Art online!!!! ahaha i could talk about anime for ages!

you can see Stein;Gate, is one of the best series of suspense from last seasons.

Code Geass, Death Note...

It really does depend on what sort of suspense you are looking for. I loved all that was listed other than elfin lied that just did not appeal to me.

But i suppose Ghost Hunt would fall somewhat in that genre.. it is a really good anime eng dubbed or subbed. The last id say four episodes are really.. well do not let anyone under 13 watch them. I went and brought it before id even got to the third episode.

I always recommend the same series: Rurouni Kenshin, death note, lovely complex,..

Kenshin: Medieval Japan. Life os samurais, the honor and friendship. Shonen with love, action, some jokes, nice history and cool artwork.

Death note: The first parte. I love the mental fight between L and Light. And I love Light.

Lovely Complex: Both main characters are great. I love both them. This anime is great. You can laugh and cry while watching it. All the other characters are great too. The live action is good, and Teipei Koike is cute while performing Atsushi Otani.

Peach Girl: I hate Sae. Sae, bitch. XDD

Fairy Tail. Another good one. Lots of different characters this high feelings and spirits. You can sense their emotions as yours.

In the end... I follow several series at the same time with diferent genres, styles,...
I love seine, shoujo, shonen,....

Try Psycho-Pass. You may appreciate it !

Too much manga to recommend xD

Rurouni Kenshin is a very good one to begin with (I've read it countless time, and I still love it).
Claymore, I did like it very much too, a little bit disapointed that it's finished.
Death note, a classical (good in anime too)
Tenjou Tenge, I like Ogure Ito (Oh! Great) work. (Air gear is also good).
Gantz, very good seinen, but I'm a little bit disapointed of the end.
Psyren, I think one of the best shonen I've read so far
Full Metal Alchemist, it's also a classical (I didn't watch the anime, so I can't say if it's good)
Knight of Sidonia, still in progress (12 books so far). It's my manga of the moment.
Elfen Lied, the book ('cause the anime stops midway in the storry)

Manwha :

Island, not very known but oh f***, it was very well drawn. It's short to read (7 tome) but like it.
Chonchu, very goood one ! But sadely the author stoped midway (well the end is not the end for me)
Girls of the Wild, huhu funny one, still in progress.

Anime :

Evangelion, Death Note, Gundam Seed, Fate/Zero, Macross Zero, Code Geass
(Huh, there's a lot of mecha anime in my anime list xD)

Psychological manga/manwha :

Death Note, Code Geass, Island, Angel Sanctuary
Gantz, Elfen Lied, Psyren (In some way too)

try Zankyou no Terror / Terror in Resonance

I will second Death note, Another, and Psycho pass. All were good. A newer one that is pretty well done is Gangsta and also Drifters. Loved them both.
