Why not sharing only the US files without mp3?

I just joined the forum and it looks awesome, thanks for the good work!

Except, there's quite a lot of invalinks at least in the Korean 한글 side. So I was kind of wondering, would it be possible to share just the US files, maybe with covers, without the mp3s to make the files stay longer on the services? I would assume the main reason for files links breaking are the mp3 files. Making and sharing US txts isn't forbidden right?

At least I imagine I would be able to find the mp3s for the songs elsewhere, but finding the US files is half impossible.

Just throwing out a suggestion. Anyone with me?

Well, the main problem here is that we extract the mp3 from the MVs, and usually the normal mp3 won't fit. You would have to adjust the start of the MV and the start of the lyrics to make them fit. Sometimes MVs have pauses or the song have some differences with the normal version.

Or download the MV and extract the mp3 from it.

So you would have some work after downloading to do.

Mm, understandable. But for me the extra work wouldn't matter, I can do it. Would get the MV to run in the background also. Or there's even programs to extract mp3 straight from youtube, so it's relatively simple. But I cannot make the US files, as my musical skills aren't high enough, assuming there is no midi.

I think the best case would be to have both links, one just for the US file and one for also the mp3. Of course the US only should have a link to the original MV somewhere. This would mean extra work for the song makers tho.

Even though, it would make sense only if it would raise the availability of the files. And that there's more people ready to do the extra work, as it would be too much trouble to make the changes just for one person.

Actually, the current problem is not so much the song restrictions some sites could impose, but the availability of those songmakers!

We have a reuploader who tries to reupload a link whenever she spots a broken one.

Only problem is, for some of those links, the songmaker has been AFK and cannot send her the files. For the (INVALINK) songs, unless someone who had previously downloaded the songs steps up and offers to reupload it, we are currently stuck.
