What is your favorite anime?

I was wondering if you could share your favourite animes with me! I've been watching anime since I was a child! The first anime that I've watched was Ouran High School Host Club and I still love it with all of my heart to this day. I still usually keep up with upcoming and ongoing anime I like watching shounen, shoujo, comedy, horror, or any wholseome anime! If you have any recommendations, I would love to try them out. For me it's been a very long time since I followed any Anime series. The last one being One Piece that I stopped following after I got wife and kids.

Before that it was
Cowboy beebop (Most for the music),
Hellsing (for the ocult excitement) ,
Trigun (for the action and the always hungry Vash the Stampede),
Evangelion (For the EVAs)(cosplayed as Gendo Ikari at Uppcon:03 in 2004 and won ), Excel Saga (For the Cheer wierdness) (Cosplayed as Nabesin at Coscon:01 in 2006 and won )
(Standards of cosplaying wasn't that high as they are nowadays.)
Fullmetal Alchemist (Didn't finish this one)
Berserk (Just look at that sword, but the ending is a stomach-twister)
Love Tropicana (For the cheer wiredness)
Slayers (For the Megumi Hayashibara music)

Netflix adaptaion of Cowboy beebop . That made me fear the worst but after a quick look at the trailer they seem to have kept the Yoko Kanno musical score and the mood. Not too shabby visual characters. Although I can't remember Spike being so willing to put the lights out for Faye.
