How to set up 3-4 Microphone?

Hi all!

My question is do anyone know how to setup 3 or more mirophone on your computer, so all of them works while playing ultrastar?.
I have no problem with making 2 of them works but having problems when trying to make 3-4 mic works while using my 2 old singstar wired microphone.
Gonna try again to setup 3 microphone when the new one arrive ^^.
Would appreciate a guide or some tips how to make it work if anyone have done it before ^^. have a nice day and thanks you!

Playing with more than 3 players possible?
To play with more than three players you need a second screen. You must expand your screen horizontal with your graphic drivers. Then open config.ini in the main directory of UltraStar Deluxe. There you should change Screens=1 to Screens=2 and FullScreen=On to FullScreen=Off. Set the resolution of UltraStar Deluxe to the resolution you use with one screen in MS Windows.

my new mics arrived yesterday! been trying the whole day to setup all these 3 wireless mic to work but somehow didn't manage to do it, I even have problem to setup 2 mics to work :/.
Been looking around Google found this guide and stil doesnt work :/.

if USB ULTRASTAR mic's (or other) doesnt work proberly:

1 delete [record] section in config.ini
2 plug in mic's to usb and wait for detection by your OS
3 go to OPTIONS/RECORD be sure about selected soundcard is "USBMIC#?????" (?) means numbers
4 set LEFT CHANNEL to 1 and RIGHT CANNEL to 2
5 exit and close ULTRASTAR (it needs restart to accept new settings)

My problem is that it seems to work as the same player x.x, I mean when i sing with 1 mic as player 1 the player 2 and player 3 bar keep being the same too, even though all 3 are in different channels. Hope you know what I mean.

Wonder if it can be that my mic doesnt work to play 2+ player with ultrastar?

You're welcome, but unfortunately I don't know how to make the mics to work properly :/ But I'll search and if I find something I'll inform you.

anyway thanks for your help! But I think these mics are not compatible with ultrastar, I bought 2 new mic again and this time Sony singstar wireless mic.
Says to be compatible with ultrastar so hopefully wont have problem with these, they arrive on monday!

Edit: Yah no problem at all with these sony wireless mic, can play 3 player now xD. Will need more mic to play 4-6players.

It's not really required to have two screens to play with more than 3 players. All you need to do is to follow that guide about the config.ini and after opening the game click the maximize button or double-click the title bar of Ultrastar.
This usually works better if you're using a widescreen since it'll split the screen in two columns, thus the video aspect ratio will be affected.

I know I'm stupid but I've read all of the above and still don't quite understand.
I own 2x 2 wireless singstar mics. Once I tried to use them both but my computer just recognized one of the usb-thingy - when I checked them in "hardware and sound" -
What did I wrong?
Do I just have to change the config of ultrastar? =(

yah nice one! that way works great too! ^^.

Theres another way to play 6 players download the Ultrastar Duet Challenge CMD version and u can play 6players in 1screen without changing any settings.

btw 6players doesnt work in party mode, u can only play max 3 players in party mode.
Would be nice if they make it possible to play 6players in party mode in the future ultrastar version! ^^.
