Official Stolen Links Thread

Hi members!

As you've all read my message I imagine this thread comes as no surprise.

This is the thread where you can post links towards websites you think may have some of our songs. If you are frequent user of Ultrastar Espana, Ulttrastar.fr or USDB (or other sites) you may have noticed that some songs seem eerily similar to some on our own website.

If you see anything that looks suspicious, please leave a reply in this topic and we will go investigate. Sometime songs are stolen, sometimes another person simply made the song. If you have any doubts, just leave us a message and we will take a closer look.

If you spot something, please right down the name of the song in question, the name of the uploader (if given) and send us a link to the website where you spotted it.

thanks for the information, in ultrastar-es.org songs are appearing on this page and do not respect the credit it deserves the creator saying that the song put it on the page because it was fixed, I mean that all our songs are bad. .... I'll put ire notificancio carefully but usually always the same user: Rubn4.

We already took notice -and action- for this user. We are limited on what we can do on other websites but he was already banned from ours.

I told him that this is not the original creator of the song
he replies that it has been years they are doing it: taking other people's songs, "fix" and then put them back on their site.
I told him that we would never do that!

I do not wish to be rude, but I have the feeling that it is his way to say "I don't care.". Although I believe that an admin of a website should not have such an attitude... It is wrong to steal works of other people and claim them as your own, even if you modify the file a bit.

I believe that to be true as well! Like "serves you for banning me". What I find interesting is that he continues to refer to our website in his descriptions - which is actually not that bad as it sends more people our way.

Yeah, I'm a "silver lining" type of girl. ^^

On USDB, user MoshiMoshiAishteru has just uploaded Akiharu's "Shinee - Lucifer".

I haven't heard from Akiharu in a while, so I don't know if he received permission or not.

I was messing around in my profile and the closest I came to being able to "delete" a song was to edit the TXT file and make it blank. However, considering all files are checked before uploaded I don't know if they would let that edit fly...

Profile --> Own songs --> Click on song --> at the bottom "edit"

i think... it's good:
MoshiMoshiAishteru was able to delete the song,
simply by removing all lines of the file!

Seems to be fixed, I could only see REMOVED - REMOVED.

Prom, yout Gackt - Last Song has been uploaded to USDB. I checked both text files they are the same (expect for your name being removed).

Member has lost his rights and is considered for permanent BAN for uploading multiple songs to another site.

Not sure if she's a member in this place, but she shared lot of ultrastar songs over here. There might be some created over here, most are from ultrastar-es.org!

Some are clearly stolen from our site and not available anywhere else (I would kow, I made them).   

She's using a different username here so it might take a little longer to poinpoint who it is. I'll see if I can find an ip for her site. Looks Polish.
