your favorite music for karaoke?

Japan and corea :3

My favourite music for karaoke is Japanese songs. I'm only listening to J-Pop since I know about Anime and Mangas. I used to hear Chinese songs when I was a child since I'm Chinese, but now I prefer to sing Japanese songs, especially from Tamaki Nami, FripSide and Ayane.^^

I definitely like korean songs better and am more familiar with them.

But i voted for japanese songs, since although i like listening to korean songs, japanese is more easier to sing lol, also cause of the fact that i studied japanese for 3 years.

For me - Korean songs, then Japanese. Nowadays I listen only to Korean music, but there was a time I've been listening to Japanese, so I can also sing some of them - but I don't listen to any Chinese music, I even don't know how to read romanization, so... yes.

Korean songs are my favorite because I love to sing them with my wife.

Japanese songs for me. Although, I sing Other Songs once a while too. However, mainly Japanese.

It's difficult for me because I Love Japanese Music, Korean it's lovely but I Like chinese Too >.<

My favourite is definitely Japanese music. After that it's Portuguese (since it's my 1st language) and English music (mostly soft rock and the like).
Can't understand korean or chinese so it kind of loses it's appeal for me a little (not that I speak japanese that well, just enough to understand it for the most part).

I actually like Japan and Korean songs. But I like Korean songs better. I love DBSK and 2pm!! >.<

k-pop

I voted for Japanese. :) I like k-pop over j-pop, but pronounciation in japanese is so much easier for me as it is really similar to Finnish. My top four languages are: Japanese, Finnish, English, Korean.

I like korean groups songs, no matter in what language they sing, but I also like some japanese singers, as you can see in my profile image.
Japanese is easier to pronunciate, but I'm more used to korean songs.

Japanese for me.
I can put so much emotions & strenght in my voice while singing on Ultrastar or Raidcall !

For me it's mostly japanese.
I love to sing in korean too, but it's a bit diffucult for me.
English and german songs are nice too.
Think i'm fine if i can sing anyway.

If it's me, Chinese songs ^^

But with friends/family it's mostly :
English > French > Japanese.

I do also sing in other languages like Spanish, German, Korean, Hungarian (magyar), Persan (farsi),
Hindi, Russian, Latin, ... I don't mind testing another language, even if I don't understand
or know what I sing. It's just for fun

German is great to sing, even if I don't know lots of artist (mostly rock/metal band 'cause
I was a couple of year ago a great rock/metal fan).

I'd love to sing on Rammstein, Eisblume, Elis, E Nomine.
Unfortunately, I did only find some Rammstein songs and Eisblumen from Eisblume.

When I'll be done with Chinese songs (I've still a long, long list to do),
I'll work on other languages and certainly German
(I'd like to sing on Mitternacht from E Nomine, or Der Letzte Tag from Elis)

@Ladynight153 where are you from? And yes, the pokemon song is awesome, also songs like "die Ritter des Rechts", "Gummibärenbande" "Mila Superstar" and so on. Always funny to sing those

It's been ages since I listened to rock/metal, even if sometimes I open Ultrastar
and go sing on some Linkin Park, SOAD, Deftones, Nightwish ... song just to break my voice lol.

Oh, I remembered some song in German, something's like "Ich bin so traurig ... so allein ..."
what was it again xD It would be fun on Ultrastar ! (Nothing to do with metal xD)

"Christina Stürmer" is an austrian singer. It's pretty equal to "Silbermond" i think.
"Wir sind Helden" with the song "Nur ein Oh" is one of my favourite!  

Most of them are not my cup of tea, but there are some songs which are pretty nice to sing.  

You're right! Linkin Park and Nightwish can be a real voice killer! Haha.
